The growing interest in Lighthouses is causing an explosion of information available on the Internet. Shorelights exists to organize this information so you can find what you want to know. Click on a link above to start your search.

This site is still very much under contruction as we finalize design and layout. Also, several people are busy adding lighthouse data to the database. Each day this site grows thanks to their help.

Photographs are available in some of the Lighthouse listings. I confess a trend towards using my own photographs from years past. However, I understand I cannot do it all. Thus, I will cheerfully accept images made by others for use as primary and scrapbook images. All I ask is two things: The image must be served by this web site and you allow us to format the image for the web from a high resolution scan. Of course we will display all proper credits and links. An online contest will determine which picture gets top placement for those lighthouse listings that have more than one.
